The Cévennes and southern Ardèche
Lovers of wide open spaces and wild nature, our 3-star campsite is ideally located for all outdoor activities. Near the Gorges du Chassezac and the Gorges de l’Ardèche, a fishermen’s paradise, you can practice canoeing, paddle boarding, canyoning, but also paragliding, climbing, horse riding or hiking… summer activities that create unforgettable memories.
Unless you prefer to stroll through the medieval streets of Les Vans or Banne, enjoy the night markets and Ardèche gastronomy.
OUTDOOR SPORTS
Hiking
Virade du Batistou
Start on foot from the campsite: a lovely 5km hike (approximately 2 hours), easy and accessible to all, which will take you to the heart of the Ardèche heritage: dry stone walls, hydraulic basins, etc.
The Paiolive wood
Explore the natural labyrinth of Païolive wood, where plants and minerals intertwine to create a magical and unique universe.
Le Serre de Barre
Departure on foot from the campsite: a beautiful hike of medium difficulty (around 4h30 and 900m of elevation gain) to reach the summit of the Pays des Vans and a 360° panorama.
Character villages
Thines
Charming Cévennes village perched a few hundred meters above sea level. Rich heritage, breathtaking views and a relaxed lifestyle await you. The road which leads there offers an uninterrupted spectacle in this wild valley, where century-old chestnut groves, perched hamlets and crystal clear river mingle…
Banne
This village hides many architectural pearls: the stables of the Fort, which host the many summer festivities, topped with the remains of its medieval castle but also the Saint-Pierre de Banne church dating from the 12th century

Cocalière Cave
